Well, to say that I'm flabbergasted, and excited, and honored is the understatement of November. My short story, "The Fish Tank", whose theme is about events taken from the Cuban Diaspora, was selected by the University College Cork, in Cork, Ireland, as one of the short list of finalists for their Carried in Waves Short Story Contest.
I am beyond thrilled. Three winners will be selected from that list on Monday, Nov. 9th, but we are all winners, really. My story, and theirs, will be recorded and broadcast!! I will have a podcast of it!
