MEET SEAN O'CAHAN FROM DARKNESS CALLING, BOOK FIVE OF THE PRIMANI SERIES

Today, in MEET A CHARACTER FRIDAY, I have the pleasure to present Sean O'Cahan, from Laurie Olerich's Primani Series.  Everyone, you will want to meet Sean because he was voted Best Bad Boy of 2015 by InnerGoddess Forum!! And I'll let you know a little secret:  The author adores Sean, as well.

Sean is one of the toughest fighters created in the Primani Series.  Despite this, he is profoundly gentle with his young son and always manages to come out stronger out of all the trials and tribulations Ms. Olerich throws at him. He shines in every book, but his backstory is told in Darkness Calling (Primani Book Five).  He does have a few weaknesses, but who can blame the guy:  he's proud, has a thing for Camaro's, and a weakness for Mica Thomas.

Born in 112 AD, Sean is one of the four core characters in the Primani Series. He is a Primani Tactical expert, was made by Raphael, and has an Irish Druid/German Celt background. His expert skills are hand-to-hand combat, explosives, and Martial Arts.  His powers?  He can control behavior, adjust memories, do teleportation, ghosting, and mind reading.  He wields a silver Primani blade, 10-inch military knife, a Sig Sauer P250, and a H&K 417 Rifle.


Excerpt:

“Listen to me.” He enfolded her in his arms with their faces inches apart. “We all have darkness in our pasts. It comes with immortality. I’m not going to judge you, Ais. The angels know how much I’ve slipped over the centuries. I’ve got no lily white soul.”

He smoothed his hands over her arms in a gesture of comfort that was becoming oddly normal. “The fact is my soul’s scarred, pitted, and stretched out with all of the battles I’ve put it through. At the end of the day? I’m Primani. I do what it takes. My methods haven’t always been sanctioned, but I do what I need to finish the mission.”

His voice thickened with emotion, fingers tightening around her shoulders. “But goddammit, sometimes my wants--those fucking carnal desires--those wants get the best of me.”

He trailed his fingers up her neck to thread them through the curls framing her face. “When that happens, I give in to temptation. I take what I fucking want.”



Ms. Olerich had me with the Sig Sauer.  Man...I can't resist a man with a heavy duty weapon!  I'm also a sucker for those eyes, as well.
